Many people are unaware of the great diversity of our felines, their habitat, physical characteristics, threats currently facing them, and the importance that they play in maintaining Nature’s health and diversity. In a state that has seen explosive human population growth, Texas Native Cats presents the cats’ struggle to cope with human influence and gives a voice to these amazing wild cats.

Monica Morrison is the founder of Texas Native Cats, an organization based in Dallas that consists of volunteers, master naturalists, and others interested in acquainting Texans with our cat species.

The program is free and open to the public.
