Pollinator/Restoration Project – Friday, Dec. 15, 1-5 pm

Planting time!  Big thanks to Arlington Parks and Recreation Department for preparing the site, installing the mulched trail and temporary irrigation system.  Local ecotype grass and wildflower seeds have been hand-gathered, many are thanks to John Snowden’s Bluestem Nursery….and more have been purchased from local providers with EarthDayTX grant funds…and it’s time to plant!

Volunteers are needed to finish preparing the project site, broadcast the seed and finish the planting by rolling the seed and watering. Anytime you can help Friday afternoon would be appreciated

Please dress for the weather and bring work gloves, stiff rakes or hoes (if you have ‘em).  Water and snacks will be provided.

Weather is looking seasonably cool but sunny. If too windy for broadcasting seed, we’ll still rake and prep the site, just delay seeding slightly.
